A 'Most Popular' Debate

The afternoon shuffle has begun. Five of the eleven newspapers we examine experienced a shift in their 'most read' articles since we reviewed them this morning.  The Washington Post's most read piece at the moment, by conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer, almost seems to be debating the NY Times 'most read' piece - penned by liberal commentator Paul Krugman.

The other 'most read' articles now at number one include the LA Time's piece on jobs, the Sydney Morning Herald's article on the design flaw of the engine that caused this week's midair explosion on a Qantas flight and the Guardian's piece on the Ramsay's family drama. So - it's opinion on the economy and politics, the economy, midair disaster, and celebrity that's driving our attention today. But of all the celebrities - why are the Brits obsessed with the Ramsay family?
