# 1: Top Ranked Stories

Ryanair's charity activities have made it into a second newspaper's 'most read' spot this week. Note to businesses - if you want free advertising for you company have your workers strip. And two very different takes on immigration, one a nation's and another, the backward views of an Australian politician. Each piece made it into the 'most read' position this morning. But is the popularity of the article in the Sydney paper an endorsement of the politician's views, or the reaction of a disgusted public?  There's more from today's 'most read' spot - including peace, games, celebrity and politics. Enjoy!

Each morning we attempt to understand what drives people's curiosity and attention. This segment uses the simple metric of 'most viewed articles' - a feature on the home-pages of many newspapers. We examine newspapers from across the English speaking world.

If you have an answer to the questions - what drives people's attention? And - should we be attending to something else? If so - how? - then please comment below.
