# 1: Top Ranked Stories

There's an eclectic mix of headlines in the 'most read' spot this morning - however, sex and celebrities, sports and Obama continue a trend from previous posts.  Readers of the LA Times break from that trend by attending to the homeless.  But the LA Times isn't the only outlier - scroll down to see more. The 'most read' pieces from the Washington Post and the City Press remain the same from yesterday.

Each morning we attempt to understand what drives people's curiosity and attention. This segment uses the simple metric of 'most viewed articles' - a feature on the home-pages of many newspapers. We examine newspapers from across the English speaking world.
